All Documents on Founder Catalyst are produced in PDF format, however, we do understand that you may be required to provide copies in Word format; there are a couple of ways you can do this.
You can convert a PDF to a Word document using a variety of tools, including Adobe Acrobat, Xodo, and Smallpdf:
Adobe Acrobat: Open the PDF in Acrobat, select Convert from the global bar, and then select DOC from the drop-down menu next to Microsoft Word. You can also use the Export PDF tool in the right pane to choose Microsoft Word as the export format.
Xodo: This online converter is available on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. Xodo claims to keep your data safe and confidential, permanently deleting it after one hour.
Smallpdf: This online tool offers a PDF to Word converter.
Alternatively you can also open a PDF in Microsoft Word by going to File > Open. Word will make a copy of the PDF and convert its contents into a format that Word can display. The original PDF will not be changed.
You can start a funding round in minutes with a free FounderCatalyst account, experiment with our service and see how easy it would be to save time, money, and emotional resources by using FounderCatalyst when raising your next funding round.
You can see a sample of the paperwork we'd generate, invite colleagues to act as investors, and truly experiment with how easy we make it. Then cancel the experiment round when you're ready to start a real one!
