Step 1: Signing Up (Free Account)
Add Name
Enter your full name. This is required for the creation of legal documents.
Add Email
Provide your email address for your account.
Add Password
Create a secure password to protect your account.
Verify Account
After submitting your details, check your email for a verification link.
Click the link to verify your account, then log in again to proceed.
Step 2: Fill in Personal Details
1.Add Home Address
Enter your home address. This is required for legal purposes.
2.Add Signature
You can either upload an image of your signature or sign directly on the platform.
Your signature will be used to digitally sign legal documents.
Step 3: Add Company Details
Company Number
Enter your company’s registration number.
Role
Specify your role in the company.
The platform will automatically verify and confirm your company using a search function.
Add Company Logo (Optional)
You can upload a company logo, which will be used to brand documents.
Company Address
The platform will pull the company address from Companies House records. Review and confirm that it’s correct.
Add Correspondence Address
You can either use your account email or provide a different general correspondence address.
Add Company Email
Provide a general company email (not a personal one) that can be used for communication.
Fill in Company Operations Details (Optional)
This includes company policies such as holiday year, working hours, and share value. Most fields are optional.
Add Bank Details
These are required for receiving payments.
Add Share Price
Input the price per share for your company.
Save Options
Once you’ve entered all the details, save your settings to move forward.
Step 4: Define Founders
Platform Founders Pull
The platform will pull a list of registered directors from Companies House.
Identify Yourself
Choose "This is Me" to identify yourself as one of the founders.
Invite Other Founders (if applicable)
If there are additional founders, send them invites through the platform.
Add Missing Founders
If any founders are missing from the list, you can manually add them. They will receive an invite to join the platform.
Step 5: Cap Table
Fill in Shareholder Details
Provide details about the shareholders in your company.
Allocate Shares
Assign shares to each shareholder based on your company’s setup.
Shareholder Invites
The platform will automatically invite all shareholders to join.
Upon logging in, shareholders will be asked to sign a Shareholders Resolution.
Step 6: Founder Details
Job Title
Specify your role within the company.
Salary
Enter your agreed salary.
Notice Period
Indicate the notice period required for your role.
Other Details
Provide any other relevant information, such as company shares or additional agreements.
Generate Legal Documents
Based on these details, the platform will automatically generate your Founder Service Agreement and an Intellectual Property Assignment Letter.
FAQ's
I'm trying to add co-founders to the cap table, but can only select myself. I can't go back to "Invite your founders" to see the status there. How do I resolve this?
You can complete the onboarding, just entering your own shares for now.
Once you have finished entering the initial details, you can head to the People menu to add your co-founders and then to the CapTable to add their shares.
